Account Manager

Account Manager - New South Wales

TQB Brands Pty Ltd is Australia’s leading Automotive Garage Equipment wholesaler, and we are expanding our account management team. We are seeking experienced, highly motivated Account Management people to join our successful team of Account Managers across Australia. TQB Brands Account Managers develop and grow relationships with our TQB Stockists, Dealers and Resellers in specified territories around Australia, whilst achieving a budgeted sales growth target.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven, successful experience in technical, conversion sales in a wholesale B2B environment
  • Proven ability to develop new accounts and new business opportunities
  • Successful experience calling on small single stores to large multi-site national corporations
  • Highly developed communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of the English languages
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced team environment
  • Positive and professional attitude under pressure
  • Ability to actively listen, empathise and professionally present to potential and current customers
  • Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Commitment to delivering and continuously improving excellence in customer service.
  • Comfort and ability to meet with potential customers while developing and presenting sales presentations.

Technical Competencies:

  • Ability to demonstrate product features and benefits
  • Experience in the automotive/industrial aftermarket desired but not essential
  • Microsoft applications, CRM, exposure to ERP systems

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Account management of existing customers within the territory
  • Personally contact potential and existing customers by cold calling, generating sales leads, responding to sales inquiries to secure new and increased business accounts to meet established sales targets.
  • Account management of existing customers within the territory
  • Achieve maximum sales, growth and account conversion within the assigned territory
  • Complete and submit sales reports as required
  • Act as a liaison with customer service to direct inquiries regarding accounting, shipping or any other problems.
  • Being up to date with any information concerning product development, fluctuations in competitors and market performance.
  • Displaying an attitude and behavior reflecting "Service First" at all times.
  • Attend industry related events
  • Prepare and present business reviews for forecasted sales to target.

Travel Requirements

  • Territory as assigned:New South Wales
  • Travel as required
  • Attendance at industry related trade shows.
